ASSESSMENT
Save the Bees Unit to make small wooden individual hives for native bees. Locate around school as art installation and to raise awareness/questions from other students. Unit will cover investigation, design, plan, build and evaluate of these unique designs. Light Box (Laser Cutting) Students will explore identity; beliefs and values; personal, physical, mental, social and spiritual health; human relationships including families, friends, communities and cultures; what it means to be human. Students will have and introduction to Adobe Illustrator for designing their work. They will also be introduced to the use of laser cutters for manufacturing methods. Students will continue to developing building and construction skills in the workshop and as well as workshop safety.
