Jess Hill is an investigative journalist who has been commenting on domestic violence since 2014. She has been a producer for ABC Radio, a Middle East correspondent for The Global Mail and an investigative journalist for Background Briefing . In addition, Jess has been listed in Foreign Policy’s top 100 women to follow on Twitter and her reporting on domestic violence has won two Walkley awards, an Amnesty International award and three Our Watch awards. Her new book See What You Made Me Do combines “exhaustive research with riveting storytelling”. It will challenge your perceptions about domestic and family violence. Jess says of her book: “I have spent four years writing a book that will speak calmly yet powerfully about an issue that is devastating the lives of countless Australians”. This is a lunch time session not to be missed. It promises to be challenging, at time confronting and always riveting.
