“Do you want to eat lunch?” asked Isaac hungrily. “Umm, sure,” Isabella said, quite puzzled. “What time is it?” “11:30 am,” replied Oliver. “BARK!” Chase’s bark echoed down the tunnel. “Don’t worry Chase, I’ll go get your bone, okay,” said Oliver. Alexander wasn’t doing much. He just rested on a rock close to the entrance of the tunnel, eating his lunch. Isabella went to sit next to Alexander, but she sat down on a rock that was as sharp as a needle. “Ouch!” Isabella screeched. Everyone giggled, except for Isabella. “It’s not funny,” Isabella stomped. “To be honest, it sort of is funny,” Isaac pointed out. At that very moment something black rushed past in a flash. “What on earth was that!” Alexander asked stunned, his mouth was wide open as if he was a crocodile about to chomp down on a massive fish. “I – I have no idea,” Oliver replied, as shocked as Alexander. “I don’t think you know but, umm, you two look really, umm, sort of – I guess – a bit stupid,” Isaac said, then feeling a bit nervous about what they might reply back with. “Hey, dude I really don’t care. All I’m going to say is that it’s getting dark, and I’m getting cold and Chase, he looks like he’s a bit impatient,” he explained as he looked down at Chase. “If I can point out, I’m also really tired, and I bet you guys are too. I can just tell just by looking at your face, so let’s try and get some sleep.” Alexander explained. And guess what - ten minutes later they were saying “good night,” and falling asleep.
