As visualised in figure 8, Australia, South Africa, and Botswana rank 6 th , 53 rd and 122 nd in the world on the health care index rank respectively. This index is an estimation of the overall quality of the healthcare system, professionals, equipment, staff, doctors, and cost (numbeo, 2022). Therefore, this demonstrates the difference of the quality of healthcare, which correlates with the difference of HIV prevalence among these countries.
