Personal and Cultural Expression
Students design, participate, and explain a 5 week training plan for improving their FITNESS in a chosen sport. Chapter 2: Benefits of fitness Types of Fitness Fitness Components Fitness Testing Fitness Training Methods Continuous/Interval/Fartlek/Circuit/Resist ance Netball skills and game play skills that focus on their Identity (Gender) in Netball as well as their Netball performance ability. Netball Skills: Rules, Content: Introduction of basic skills, rules and game play for the games of netball, off- side, held-ball, replayed ball, rebound, short pass, over a third. Drills and skills to learn these rules. Basic Skills: Chest pass, bounce pass, shoulder pass, overhead pass and catching all of these; working in pairs and group drills Chapter 3: Human Development: Human Reproductive Systems Growth and Development Stages of Growth and Development Adolescent Sexuality Activity Contraception Sexually Transmitted Infections
