CODING . Students will be involved in an introduction to coding, which will enable them to acquire what is widely regarded as a truly world language, developing Computational Thinking Skills.  They will use their imaginations and coding ability to design and create their algorithm for a micromelon robot to traverse a maze. COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN Students will undertake an inquiry into Computer Aided Design (CAD).  Students will demonstrate a range of skills in designing and manipulating a 3D model while developing an appreciation of how CAD programmes can have real world applications.  The emphasis will be on innovative and functional design of a cable protector that will be 3D printed at the end of the unit.
