There are four (4) Assessment Categories for given tasks: There are four (4) Assessment Categories for given tasks: Paper 1 Multiple Choice questions on Core and AHL material.

Paper 2 Short-answer and extended-response questions on the Core and AHL material. Paper 3 Section A: candidates answer short-answer questions based on experimental skills and techniques, data analysis and evaluation; Section B: short-answer and extended-response questions from one option topic - core and AHL. Internal Assessment The Year 12 experimental report will count for 20% of the final mark. All papers test knowledge and understanding of the content covered in the course and represent 80% of the total assessment. The Internal Assessment represents 20% of the total assessment.
