CULTURE Audience Imperatives, Purpose

The short film genre can be used to promote social awareness of the multifaceted nature Indigenous Australian culture and encourage audiences to explore their own beliefs and values in regard to this culture. The representations evident in a novel invite the reader to develop particular perspectives of people, times and places. Literature can have a significant impact on the values and beliefs of communities and the individuals within them. Works of literature which deal with fundamental aspects of human existence in a compelling and engaging manner can endure the test of time.

A number of Approaches to Learning are a continuous part of English teaching practice.
