Wicked - Senior Musical Programme 2021
Synopsis
Before Dorothy and Toto set foot in Oz, there were another two young women who travelled along the Yellow Brick Road. Wicked tells the story of Elphaba – a young witch who doesn’t let her verdigris stand in the way of her talent – and her unlikely friendship with the shrewd and popular Galinda. Together, they navigate college, politics, talking animals and love triangles, all while chasing their ambitions to be top sorcerers in the Emerald City. With familiar faces and new characters, this origin story explores the idea of being ‘good’ and challenges our view of what it really means to be Wicked.
