Day 7 (Generosity)

‘WHOMP.’

Streaks of light flooded the room. Flashing colours filled the empty holes scattered on the wall. Mist silently crept through the floorboards as whirling sirens pierced the silence.

“AH!! What’s that sound terrible sound!” Kenny exclaimed. Parker didn’t reply, but simply waddled closer to Kenny.

CLICK, CLICK, CLICK… there was an echo in the distance.

“Oh no, wh-wh-where did you take us now Platty P.” Kenny stuttered as he gripped onto Parker tightly.

CLICK, CLICK, CLICK… the sound intensifies. The door swung open and exposed the source of the clattering. It was footsteps, thousands of footsteps. Different animals scurried past the house busily trying to get to work on time.

Parker cried “I know where we are Kenny, we are in the city! I think my cousin lives here.”

The city was so grand, not anything Kenny had ever imagined- immense buildings in systematic patterns. The sunlight was barely finding its way through the smog-filled sky.

“OOOOH WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE!” an Ibis announced as he glided onto the porch.

“YEWWWWWW, I CAN TELL Y'ALL AREN’T FROM AROUND HERE,” the other chuckled as he floated down
