The Wordsmiths Book 2021

Elio, For Oliver

I am that of a fool, A fool for loving you. A fool for my vulnerability. A fool for allowing your love to consume me.

Consume me.

I do not know who I am without you. You made an appearance in my life, and changed me, abandoned me.

Abandoned me for another, and left my heart to bleed.

I wonder... Do you remember?

Does your heart melt at the scent of a refreshing summers morning? Do tears stream from your eyes at the thought of me? At the thought of our ventures in 83'?

Once again, I wonder... What is left of me?

I hope that I am more than a just another memory, but the one your world stops spinning for, as that is what you are to me.
