but neither of us won and its the white between the lines of your jumpsuit as we posed inside a tie-dye frame and when I think of all these things all these pearly white memories and as the rain falls on us as we almost cry for a bird that dies too early I wonder if I should try to chase your ribbon tear another strip or do I hang my best black dress up let the ribbon go and wave from afar

I'll be on time for class with some someone else and let you and your white glow fade away
