The Prince Who Stole Music

K.C. began beatboxing and Blake laughed at her, the revolution had begun and it was time to take a stand. He began to rap...

“Ladies and gentlemen we’re here tonight To address an issue that’s come to light Its a very special day to celebrate We need to live in hope together, not in hate Its the Prince’s birthday but there ain’t no music But this is a revolution, so we’ll sing acoustic You think we forgot, think we don’t care

But the whole world is here on your birthday hell yeah We share hopes, we share dreams and we make a great team

We’ll make music and sing in harmony If you join us, we can all make a stand

We forgive you and we’ll stand hand in hand Don’t act like this is some ordinary Thursday Cause we all know that today’s your 19th birthday!”

The Prince smiled, a grand smile that no one had seen in a long time. He got what he wanted; the biggest crowds cheering his name, the brightest fireworks, the most extravagant party, and the loudest Happy Birthday, as a rap. “Music is beautiful,” he said “You know it, mate,” Blake replied “That’s what we’ve been trying to tell you!” said K.C. “It brings the world together and fills all of us with hope, without it, Australia is a little less warm and the sun shines a little less bright.” “You’re right, of course you’re right” replied The Prince, “I don’t know what I was thinking, I thought everyone forgot my birthday, but you all gave me the best gift of all. I’m sorry I tried to take your music away.” “Not your music, our music,” said K.C. “Our music then,” The Prince said while turning to walk away, “thank you, so much”. K.C. and Blake rejoiced at their victory while the crowd cheered, music had been restored. K.C. laughed in joy

“There’s only one thing more beautiful than music in this situation.” K.C. laughed, “what is it?” she replied as if she didn’t know the answer. “You.”
