My Santiago
On Crossing Sydney Harbour Bridge
They scurry back and forth, Across that span of sparkling water, With senseless urgency of purpose, Oblivious to the beauty around. While I, I sit on the edge of my seat, Stare with eyes wide and mouth agape, At the wonder of that scene. It pulsates with a life and rhythm Of its own. Filling one with awe, And giving me a sense of insignificance.
