I would like to write about causes, To be a passionate poet,

weaving an intricate tapestry of intrigue and arbitrary power, Pleading for a nation bleeding under the tyrant’s jackboot. To have beliefs, dispassionate in their passionate certainty, stamped indelibly out of the forge of oppression. To write with accuracy and certitude, unerring in direction. Like water cascading from a fall onto rocks below. Shattering the smug preconceptions of readers, and leaving them disturbed by my force. Vaguely uneasy and somehow tainted. Feeling through my words, their guilt. Sharing a certain complicity in these crimes. Crimes due to their apathy, My ignorance.
