My Santiago
No one wins (Sri Lanka April 2019)
The little girl at church, The old man in the breakfast line, The grandmother with her lifelong friends, Saw their last ray of sunshine on that Easter Sunday; A day for rebirth, But in this story the dead stay dead,
Don’t roll away the stone to eternal life, Just flesh splattered on church walls, Life as they knew it, Extinguished.
