We are delighted to welcome you to the Junior School Showcase for 2024. Tonight, we come together as a school community to celebrate the diverse talents of junior school students engaging in Somerset College Performing Arts programs. Tonight’s event consists of two dynamic concerts highlighting the capabilities of young performers from both the early and upper primary years. Our students’ dedication and passion for the arts is truly inspiring and we cannot wait for you to witness their progress tonight. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all staff members who have contributed to the organization and presentation of this showcase. We also extend our thanks to the enthusiastic student performers and vibrant student volunteers working behind the scenes to make this event a success. A special thank you goes to our Headmaster, Craig Bassingthwaighte, and Head of Junior School, Rebecca Collie, for their unwavering support of our students' artistic endeavors here at Somerset College. Our final thanks go to you, our parents, friends, and wider school community, for your persistent support and encouragement of our children and music programs. Your dedication plays a vital role in fostering their love of the performing arts and is truly appreciated. We kindly request that audience members remain seated until the end of each concert. This maintains the integrity of the concert format and ensures an enjoyable and supportive experience for all performers and attendees.
