Y ear 1S The students of 1S had a superb time exploring space for our unit of inquiry, ‘The Earth is part of a vast and complex universe’. Some of the children’s favourite lessons included learning about the phases of the moon, using Oreo biscuits, of course! The children also investigated how the sun, moon and Earth rotate and orbit and created models to demonstrate how it all fits together!
