Hayley Tarr Hayley founded Tarr Law – a boutique

Glenn T With over thirty years of professional experience in the entertainment industry, Glenn T is an accomplished character actor, an award-winning Production Designer, a published writer and playwright. In 2003 Glenn formed Leader Entertainment and re-wrote, co-produced and designed the multi-million dollar professional Australian premiere season of Leader of the Pack, which played a twice-extended season at the Star City Showroom in Sydney before moving to the Crown Casino in Melbourne. Since relocating to Queensland in 2011, Glenn has been a part of the Costume Art team for the US mega-series Terra Nova, the Channel 10 drama Reef Doctors as well as the Feature films San Andreas and Pirates of the Caribbean 5.

Lilliana Swainson Lilliana Swainson’s project, A Little Bird Told Me , aims to generate dialogue in young children about the acceptance and integration of all people. Whilst only a teenager, Lilliana has shared her message by presenting workshops to school-aged children, and has been a guest speaker at youth leadership events on the Gold Coast as well as internationally in Singapore and Italy. She is an advocate for gender equality through her book A Little Bird Told Me and Un petit oiseau m’a dit (French translation). In 2020, her dedication was acknowledged by being awarded the Study Gold Coast Award for Championing Diversity. She is passionate about making an impact and fighting for positive change.

By her second year, despite working part time, she was able to pay herself more than she had ever been paid in her previous full time jobs at top tier firms. Her work is challenging and exciting: in 2022 alone, she has represented clients in matters against Instagram and General Motors. And this is just the beginning. Hayley has plans to grow the firm into the premier full service intellectual property law firm on the Gold Coast and beyond. She hopes that one day, some of the budding young lawyers of Somerset College will come to join her team.

Baden U’Ren Baden is an internationally recognised entrepreneurship educator and innovation professional, a multiple company founder, and has a background in investment banking and private equity. He blends academic rigour with commercial reality to provide unique insights into strategy formulation and implementation. He is cofounder of The Unconventional Group, building dynamic capabilities in organisations through immersive missions, strategic interventions, and targeted board and C-suite education. Baden is Somerset College’s first Entrepreneur in Residence.

Daniel Willis Daniel Willis is the co-founder, former CEO and current chairman of multi-award-winning growth agency Claxon. An ex finance industry CEO Daniel has built his career on successfully building fast growth companies and has traveled the world consulting to large organisations on leadership and high performance culture. In addition to Daniels role at Claxon he sits on the board of the mental health charity LIVIN and has interests within alcohol, consumer products and consultancy.

Jamien Zimmermann A highly ambitious, technology-savvy and customer-centric executive with over twenty years of experience establishing, scaling and managing large-size operations. Possesses specialty within the Telecommunications space with a keen interest across IoT, digital transformation and software development. Confident fostering strong relationships across the globe and navigating through ambiguity, political barriers and cultural requirements. Successfully won a number of contracts, partnerships, and sponsorship deals with a proven track record driving sales volume, revenue, customer satisfaction and profitability. A hands-on leader who empowers teams to be the best that they can be and take accountability.
