Ashane Kulawickrama I have been at Somerset since Pre-Prep, and this is my first musical. I have two dogs, one named Pretzel and one named Flopsy. I love the performing arts, bike-riding, and art.

Sheik Aleg

Ollie Ijuin I am so excited for this year’s musical Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits . I have been part of the school musical since year 4 and am so excited to be playing Sheik Aleg this year. I love sports and being creative whenever I can, and I also love animals, especially my puppy, Toffee!

Guard Apu

Daniel Cowling This is my second year participating the school musical and I’m really excited to be part of the magic of theatre again. I like programming games and I am proud to be the current Queensland State Indoor Rock Climbing Champion.

Sheik Yahand

Aurell Gupta I have been part of the musical for 3 years now, starting from being a Lost boy, to a Cavey, and now playing a Rich Sheik. In my free time I like to listen to music, sing, dance, read and cook. I have been participating in the performing arts programs at Somerset ever since I was in Pre-Prep, and I can’t wait to be part of this Musical.

Arjun Rai I like to do maths and I love to sing. I am excited about being in this year’s musical and I’m very happy to be playing my character. In my spare time, I like to play board games like “Settlers of Catan” and “Ticket to Ride”, and to watch movies with my family.

Matilda Thompson This is my third year of the musical. I have two dogs called Louis and Murphy. I love to sing in choir, play trumpet, dance ballet and contemporary – I just love to perform!

Liam Hartley I love playing basketball but enjoy many sports. In my spare time I can be found gardening, cooking or just playing with my puppy.

Lachlan Talbot My favourite thing to do is swim and surf. I also have two cocker spaniels- Archie and Alfie, they love to create mischief! I am really excited to have a minor lead in this year’s musical and I hope we can all put on a great show!
