In future research, a different approach or, perhaps, new interpretation of the problem—from the perspective of a different area of mathematics than just the number theory and algebraic that were explored—could be investigated. Another possible solution would be to research and analyze a specific application of the mathematical concepts involved in Fermat’s Sandwich Theorem or its conclusions, either to other areas within pure mathematics (e.g. integer factorization, graph theory, etc.) or to less mathematical disciplines (e.g. cryptography).
